What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary. These are required for the site to work: signing you in, security, remembering your plan through checkout, and remembering the choice you make about the cookies below. They are always on and do not need your consent.
Analytics. Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, and Clicky show us which pages are read and where people get stuck. Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID>, which last up to two years and let it tell one visit from the next. We use it for measurement only, with Google signals and advertising personalisation switched off.
Advertising. The Meta (Facebook) Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., measures which of our advertisements bring people to us. It sets the cookies _fbp and _fbc, which last up to 90 days. You can also manage ad personalization in your Facebook and Instagram settings.
When they are set
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland: analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you press Accept in our cookie banner. Until then none of that code loads.
- Everywhere else, including the United States: they are on by default, and you can turn them off at any time.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends this signal, we treat it as a refusal in every country.
Your choices
Use the switch in our Privacy Policy to turn analytics and advertising cookies off or on. Turning them off stops the code from loading and removes the Google Analytics and Meta cookies already set in your browser. The choice is stored in the browser you make it in.
You can also control or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a browser add-on that blocks Google Analytics on every website. Blocking all cookies may affect how the site works (for example, you may not stay signed in).
